Exciting Illusions is the home of Roman Sluka. He's a professional glamour photographer who has worked for many major magazines - like Playboy, Esquire, and Perfect 10. He says he has made his website, because he wanted to realize his ideas, as those magazines always had their own demands. I fully understand him, I often get bored with them too. You have to look at less popular places to find creativity. Enough about that, let's see the site!

The page has a simple but nice design. The same thing goes for the members area. The site is very new - so what we can see right now is the starting content. There are picture sets and videos.

There are 16 photo sets on the site. Not much, you could say. True. But what kind of 16 sets those are! I had a hard time deciding which pictures to include as samples. They're really original, refreshing, and very tasteful. They have a glamour style to them, but they have vivid colors, and Sluka likes to use fantasy, scifi, the beach, and other natural elements. There are some wonderful sets here, in perfect quality. A ZIP download feature would be useful.

There are 11 short videos, they were recorded at the photo shoots. Format is WMV, quality is good. In fact, they are backstage vids. They do give you back the feeling and atmosphere of the situations. They'd make good extras, but I think this site needs other kind of videos too. Then again, if Mr. Sluka is dedicated to photography only, he's got my blessing.

I found a little pearl. Yes, little - it may be not worth the money yet, as there's not much content. But you should keep an eye on it. I think it will be a great site later on, if they keep up the good work! Membership costs 30$ monthly, which is a bit for what's here at the moment. A little bit of member support and this site could really blossom though.
