40 Something Review

40 Something is a mature milf magazine produced by the Score Group, which is also published online at this website. They use a cascading update system here, meaning that every few days there is a new update released, instead of dumping everything once a month.

The archives on the site go back to late 2000, and funny enough from June 2003 and before, they have their other 30 Something magazines. I guess there are two magazines, and they just add those as supplemental content. Not sure exactly!

Most of the content seems to be from Europe, and I found they stuck to their theme of mature women well. Images are available in 800×600 or 1600×1200, and I was happy to see the high resolution photos go all the way back in the archives. Some of the pictures looked a bit grainy to me though, you can see for yourself from the samples.

There are obviously no videos in a print porno magazine, yet thankfully they’ve included some on the site. The videos are available in two qualities, and either MPG or WMV files. I was very pleased with the large downloadable movies offered here, I was expecting some streaming plugin garbage.

The model directory is highly useful here, if you don’t feel like viewing the site as a magazine. Things are categorized into 30+, 40+, 50+, and 60+ age groups, or you can just view them alphebetically. The navigation is well thought out.

We’ve come to expect good things from the Score Group, including sites like ScoreLand, XL Girls, etc. 40 Something mag is no exception, and should interest fans of 30-60 year old mature women. One month membership is $29.95.

I explained in the review above that I wrote in 2006 what 40 something magazine was all about, and I have the opportunity to check in again and see how things have been moving along at this MILF site by the Score group.

The first place I ventured to was the magazine archive, because that’s always what I like to see from any online magazine. I think it’s kind of a cheap use of the name to have no connection to the magazine, if that’s what the site is marketed as.

Thankfully there’s a nice archive of their magazines here, plus the opportunity to purchase back issues if you like having the paper version. Now you won’t get to click through and see the pages, they’re not scanned in like that. For each issue you get a cover, and the photo sets of all the girls featured in the magazine. Obviously many more pictures than were published too. The resolutions are still 800×600 and 1600×1200 for every set.

The magazine doesn’t seem to be monthly either, or they don’t publish every issue. I’m guessing the former, but not sure really. The archive goes from 2000 to the latest issue from July 2008. Each magazine has 8-12 photo sets associated with it.

There are videos at 40 Something Mag too, broken into 4 sections: Features, Auditions, Backstage and Solo Masturbation.

Don’t miss the Specials section too, I was expecting them to try and sell me something, but it’s just a bunch more photo sets with the 40Something branding, all milf based too. I don’t know why they call it specials, I almost avoided it!
