Celebrity Collector Review

There are different kinds of good celebrity sites. There are those with big photo archives, which usually include a lot of lower quality pictures too. There are the movie archives, mostly ripping nude scenes from DVDs. I would like to present Celebrity Collector to you, which falls under a third category. It concentrates on feeding their members with fresh stuff daily, high quality photos. Suprisingly, it’s not too known – the reason might be that they don’t advertise themselves.
Celeb Collector has only photos. They have a standalone movies site, called Celebrity Collector Movies which also has a review here at ASS.

The interface is really simple, but it works out well in my opinion. After logging in, you’ll see the list of updates in the middle right away, the newest ones being at the top. The left frame has a list of celebrities. If you click on one, the left frame switches to a thumbnail list, and you’ll get to see the big photos in the big, middle frame. There’s no search features, though they’re not that necessary on this kind of site in my opinion.

So let’s see what exactly you get for your money. Most importantly, daily updates. And not just one photo – today there has been 39 photos. That might be more than the usual amount, but lately there’s always at least 20-30 new ones daily. They post photos in the highest available quality, so there’s actually many of them with 2000×1500 and similar resolutions.

Most of the celebrities on site are American, it only features a few of the most famous European ones. There are 732 girls listed at the moment. That’s not too many, considering that some sites have multiples of this, so this really isn’t the biggest archive site. The point is rather to supply the newest stuff from the hottest celebrities out there. A lot of the new pictures can’t be found anywhere else, or at least not without some major efforts. Fortunately Celebrity Collector adds newest pictures of singers too, not just actresses.
You’ll see see photos taken at different award shows, red carpets shots, some pictures from magazine photoshoots, a few captured from movies. And finally the favourite kind of many people – fresh paparazzi shots. I like it that they add only at least semi-interesting images, and they also comment them. So you don’t have to go through 300 updates to see a nip slip.

There’s an active Forum, where you could make your requests, or just talk to others.

As you can see from the above, I really like Celebrity Collector. I can only recommend it to people like me, who already have seen most of the old celeb stuff, and are only interested in what’s new.
