David Nudes Review

David Nudes is becoming more and more interesting the deeper I venture into it. I knew from the tour I was in for something special, but often looks can be deceiving there too. This site is the work of David Weisenbarger and one of his models as well as assistant, Tatyana. It is a fine art nudes photography site, with hi definition videos as well.

I can see at the top there is a counter, which always helps me with my reviews! Says they have 16,865 photos, 41 HD videos and 450 posters online, as well as 16 lessons. The posters are what he calls covers, so that means 450 sets. Also the lessons are something extra David does for his members, in recording details and help for all the amateur nude photographers out there.

What really makes this site different is that there are a limited number of models (12 to be exact) and these girls are quite involved with the website on an ongoing basis. They post messages, talk to members, answer questions, and write things about their sets for the site. Each girl at David Nudes has her own blog, and communicate via comments in the sets too. It’s certainly more personal than most sites, which is generally hard to say in such a competitive market as nude art photography is.

The photographs are really great quality, he’s definitely a bit of a master when it comes to the photography. Lots of creative set ideas are displayed here, from simple sets with bright white backgrounds in a studio environment to outdoors photos in rugged scenarios. I always love the juxtapose of a soft woman, totall naked in a harsh outdoor nature setting.

The photos are available in four sizes (small, medium, large and XL) and are defaulted to medium which is what the samples are to the right of this article. I also really liked that you can download ZIP files for each size of the whole set. Haven’t seen that at too many sites before.

Since this is a nude art photography type website, they delete lots of shots before they make it to the website, leading to slightly smaller photo counts per set. In general there’s around 50-100 pics per set here I’d say, plus the posters they have for each.

As mentioned earlier, there are also HDV videos available here. Each girl has an interview and a couple of artistic style movies posted. You can watch them on the site in a HUGE flash player, or download the videos in various formats. There are the HD WMV’s, DiVX AVI’s, and a PSP/iPod/iPhone format as well. Watching them on the site almost covered my whole screen, very impressive. The videos in full quality range from around 50mb to 250mb.

Other neat surprises include member submitted photos, a busy commenting system, and even online storage for your personal nudes. The lessons are really cool too, I haven’t seen any other photographers really sharing their secrets like that.

They have daily updates now with a new poster posted every single day. I’m not sure what their update schedule was when they started in mid 2007 though.

Overall this is a really good quality site, with a lot of personal flair and creativity. They clearly want to be original and put their heart and souls into this site. We love to see that! Surely this is a surprising site that needs to be added to your list of sites to try out in 2009 and beyond, if you haven’t already. Membership is very reasonable at $19.95 too. I have no reservations recommending David Nudes.
