Download Pass is a DVD download site. It’s definitely one of the bigger ones, holding over 3300 retail pornos. The structure is nice, let’s take a look inside.

I like the diversity at Download Pass. They have flicks from over 80 studios, which is quite a thing. Between the lesser known ones there are some big names too, like Jill Kelly, Red Light District, Zero Tolerance, and Elegant Angel. The library also includes 350+ gay and 70+ shemale flicks, those are separated from the rest of the videos.

There are several ways to browse the contents. You can check the newest updates, all DVDs alphabetically, movies by studio, or the DVD series. The most popular movies are listed in all sections also. The pornstar index is quite good, you can filte the girls by ethnicity, age group, hair color, boob size, weight, and number of available scenes. Each model has a portrait too, which makes it easier to find the girls you like. You can use the text search to look for a title or actress. There’s a Favourites section, where you can add DVDs for later viewing. I like the Random DVD feature as well, it’s nice to use if you’re out of ideas.
Each DVD is split to scenes. Unfortunately they can’t be downloaded as full movies, I miss that feature. Both the scenes and DVDs can be browsed by category too, from Amateur to Voyeur. After you see a scene you like, it takes one more click to get to the download page – they could cut that. You can watch the videos online, download them, and check out the screencaps.

If you like to watch the scenes online, the Youtube-like embedded Flash videos may be the most comfortable choice. Your options for download are MP4 (iPod and PSP), 1mbps WMV, and 2mbps DivX files. I’m happy to report that they consistently provide DVD quality. It’s also good that the downloaded scenes are named properly after the movie titles. There’s one annoying thing though. If you like to queue a lot of downloads then let them run, your session might expire after downloading a few scenes, and then your further downloads will fail.

I don’t understand their update system. They usually add 5 DVDs a day, but for many new DVDs only 1-2 of the scenes are downloadable.

Download Pass is a great choice for anyone looking for mainstream porn from a lot of studios. If you’re into more extreme stuff or have a rare fetish, you might be out of luck. Either way, their library is openly browsable, just check it out before signing up!
