Home Town Girls Review

We had a lacklustre review of Hometown Girls, so here’s an update. April 6th, 2005.

Larry Flynt’s home of the girl next door, that’s what this site pegs itself as. This is Hustler’s amateur site, or more specifically the online version of their print magazine called Hometown Girls. The rest of the site is the same “system” as most of their other sites have, so expect the same there. All of the exclusive content for this site lies in the Online Magazine section.

The archive is of course up to date and goes back to September of 2001. There are currently 42 issues online, each with 8-9 pictorials per month. There’s also 1-4 bonus pic sets per month under the Group Flashers heading, and all the article text you would get in their print magazine.

All of the sets outside of the Group Flashers section on this site are single girl shoots, with only 10-12 pictures per set. I was a bit disappointed by this, but this is exactly what you would get in the magazine. Each shoot also has the text that appears for the girl in the magazine, so you have something to keep you busy while you click through photos.

The photos on the site seem a bit grainy, I’m not sure why this might be, other than perhaps they do this on purpose for a more amateur feel. Can’t say I loved it.

For some of the photo sets, they offer Online Exclusive photos that didn’t appear in the magazine, but were from the same shoot. This usually doubles the amount of pictures in the set, and is a really nice addition. For serious subscribers of the magazine this might make the online version a bit more appealing.

Overall this is a pretty good site if you’re interested in what’s inside Hometown Girls magazine. The extras included make up a pretty big megasite in itself, but really this site is based on the exclusive content they have from their magazine.
