Homegrown Video Review

Even if you have not heard of Homegrown Video by now, chances are that you have come across one of their products. They have some successful movie series on the market, like Homegrown Video, Cream Pie, California Student Bodies, Eye Contact.
Upon entering the site, I got the feeling this was a real big site. That’s right, it is. There are almost 1400 movies, 1850 photo sets online. Additionally, you also get access to their own webcam system, Homegrown Cams.

Let’s take a look at the movies first. Yes, this is a real amateur site, with real amateur content. So I had a few concerns – am I going to look at short, bad quality clips? Fortunately, I was wrong.
There is a great amount of movies here, but their structure is also great. You can browse movies by Date, Name and Rating. They also add the movies into niches. So say, if I wanted to find the newest Big Boobs videos, it would take me just a few clicks to find them. The rating system works well, people do rate the vids, and add comments as well. You can also search for a text, and maintain your own favorites within the site.
Majority of the movies feature amateurs, but there are some porn stars betwen them too. Homegrown Video also adds a lot of their store movies for online viewing, so you can watch those as well. I was really surprised, and impressed with the movies. They are 45-60 minutes long, and quality is decent for amateur production. If you like home-made porn, real people making love, you will really appreciate this site. There are long interviews with the ladies before the sex, and afterwards. Of course you can fast forward them, if you’re not interested. Format is WMV, each movie can be watched in three different bitrated. So no worries, modem users can enjoy the site too! It’s time to mention one of the biggest disadvantages here. You cannot download the movies. There’s a separate downloads section, but it’s rather small, and many of those clips are short.

There’s a few things here, that are not often found often elsewhere. Creampie movies. A lot of movies without condoms. So you’re into those, this is the site for you. Also, if you like swinger action, group sex, you’ll enjoy this site. Majority are beautiful, young performers, but you’ll also find quite some plumpers, and mature ladies too!

I got the impression, that the picture section is not as good as the movies. Most of the photos don’t reach the quality of studio photos, with a few exceptions. Also, I missed the ratings system here. Finally, you can’t right click, and save pictures. Anyway, I’m sure many of you will still enjoy it, it’s still hot amateur stuff!

As I mentioned, you also get access to Homegrown Cams. You don’t have to pay additional fees just to watch the daily shows. You can re-watch some older, archived shows as well.

What else? There’s a decent Erotic Literature section, with many stories. The Forum has many members, but it’s not that active. My conclusion is, this is a well-built, great resource for amateur porn. Onedownside is that you can’t download stuff, so you have to stay a member if you wan’t to keep watching their vids. The other bad thing is the price. Membership costs 40$ monthly! There’s also a three day trial for 5$.
