Mr. Skin Review

Mr. Skin is one of the major players in the celebrity genre. Our last review was done in 2003, and as the biggest fan of celeb sites myself, I’m happy to do this late 2006 re-review.

As I said, Mister Skin is a big site. In fact, it looks more like a movie portal than an adult paysite. This site is strictly about nudity in movies and tv shows, it doesn’t have paparazzi pictures or scandal tapes. It has a big database of movies, it even lists those that have no nudity. There’s a fun weekly feature called Mr. Skin Minute, which is a short video review of new movies in theatre and DVD releases, from the nudity aspect. SkinInterview features interviews with actresses/playmates. SkinZine is a weekly thing, with nudity news as well, and various top10s of nude movie scenes, this week it was “Top 10 Nude at the doctor’s office”. There are short celeb news on the main page as well.

You can browse stuff here in many ways:
Pick your celebrity from alphabetical actress list. Celebrities have their own page, with a biography, a list of the movies they appeared in, sexy and nude ones sorted separately. Each photo and scene has a little nudity indictator, and a quick thumbnail, they’re quite useful.
There’s an alphabetical list of movies, and one for tv shows. They also have their own pages, with the list of actresses.
You may browse today’s updates, or the week’s hottest updates. Both are archived, so you don’t need to worry about missing anything if you go on a vacation.
There’s a search feature, where you can not only look for actresses or movie titles, but it has nice sophisticated options also. Instead of attempting to describe it, I’ve posted screenshots of it. Check it out!

So let me talk about the actual content. Mr Skin boasts of having 13.500 actresses, and 160.000 pics & clips. Since pictures are dime a dozen, and the site doesn’t have content for all the listed girls, it’s hard to compare it to other sites. I would say this is a very good collection of movies nudity clips. For photos it’s not that good. There’s one important thing to mention here, Mr. Skin staff rips almost all of the clips and captures the images on their own. This has more consequences. It has some original stuff that’s not to be found anywhere else. Everything is basicly the same quality, which I would call mediocre. So in some cases, you may find better quality scenes here than what’s floating around on the net, but for the popular scenes there’s much better quality clips out there. In these days, when HDTV is getting popular, 400×300 resolution clips just don’t cut it. Format is WMV, the default action is to watch them streamed off the website, but they’re downloadable as well.

There is a Message Board too, it’s active too, the site has many members.

Mr. Skin is a great site if you want daily updates, and a complete nude clips collection, from B movies even. It is comfortable to surf, has great search features. However, if you want to see celebrities that aren’t actresses, paparazzi photos, pictures from events, scandal tapes, and most importantly high quality content, this is not a good choice. Membership costs 30$ monthly, or you can get a three days trial for 5$.
