Mystique Magazine Review

Mystique Magazine is a site dedicated to high quality erotic glam photography. The main page already made quite an impression on me. Under their slogan – Women You Could Spend Your Life With – lies the beautiful image of Aria Giovanni. Sounds good to me!

The site has a great classy design, and comfortable, feature-rich navigation. The page works fast and smoothly. They have a search box, where you can put a model’s name, or some other keyword regarding the sets. It works great, you can make a spelling error, and it will still recommend you some choices. The models are browsable by name and age. You can filter them by several other criterias like hair color or nationality. All of the girls have a home with a short bio and different kinds of information about them. They even have their own audio introduction that you can listen to. Every girl’s sets can be browsed by release date, title, number of photos, and rating. I won’t go into the tiny details here, as they have a 24 minute video tour of the site – very user-friendly.

There are 126 models listed, a lot of them are playmates or other famous models. They both carry glam models with fake tits, and natural beauties, some with small breasts even. Their ladies include but are not limited to: Linda O’Neil, Katia Corriveau, Aria Giovanni, Aurora Vaillantcourt, Bonnie-Jill Laflin, Jannah Burnham, Amiee Rickards, Lisa Marie Scott, Rebecca DiPietro, and Victoria Anisova.

The photography is done mainly by Mark Daughn. It’s first class material, both the clothes and locations are rich. The girls are goddesses. They do pose nude, and you may get a clear view of their pussy, but don’t expect leg spreading or pink closeups. It’s one of the sites which remind me that photography is actually an art form. Just check out the samples. Each image is available in several resolutions, the highest ones are 3000×2000, quality is perfect. You can also download the sets compressed in ZIP files. You can save the favourite sets to your favourites, so you can find them quickly in the future.

The movies come with the photo galleries. They are 2-4 minutes long, soft nude vids. The girls pose while some smooth music plays in the background. The camerawork is good, they scan the girls’ bodies from top to bottom.
They are available in many formats: DivX, QuickTime, WMV, Real Player, and IPOD compatible files. Those were the downloadable files, you can also play them streamed in Flash and QuickTime formats. Quality is good. One annoyance is that all downloadable files are compressed in ZIP files. Not only that, but the ZIP files even have the same filename.

I couldn’t find the exact number of galleries, but it should be between 500 and 1000. Plus the site holds 686 movies at the moment. The site gets two new sets a week, most of them come with a video as well.

A few more extra features are the fan message board at Yahoo Groups, and that you can order printed photos, DVDs and calendars.

Mystique Magazine would be almost perfect, if there wasn’t a catch. Apparently the 30$ monthly membership doesn’t give you full access. You may view the “sample collections”, which are hand picked images and videos, but they only represent like 1/20 of the site’s content. The rest can be accessed with credits. You get free credits every month you stay a member, and obviously you can buy them too. It’s a bit confusing what’s free and what isn’t.
Even if you decide not to spend money on the site, it’s worth a visit. There are free monthly collections, and a free membership which gives you access to some content!
