As with most things British, Television X was entirely foreign and new to me. Never heard of it before. By the way the site was built up though, I thought either they’re really trying to beef themselves up, or alternatively, they’re actually a TV network too.
So I searched, and it seems they do operate several channels in the UK on satellite. They also have signed some of the UK’s top porn stars, including Cathy Barry, Renee Richards, Suzie Best, Keisha Kane, Donna Marie, Cate Harrington, and Amber Leigh, among others.
It seems there’s an important distinction to make between their .co.uk address and their .com address too. The .com is where they have all the explicit hardcore stuff, which is where you’ll want to be if you’re using the internet to view their site. And who isn’t?!
As to their members area, it’s easy to tell this is a big site. I counted around 475 videos, and I believe they’re all UK or British related, or at least close to it. Kind of interesting that way, I’ve yet to see a DVD site focusing on the productions of a single country before.
One thing that many members will be disappointed with at TelevisionX.com is that there are no downloads. It’s a streaming only site, something you’ll probably be seeing a lot more of in the near future. You watch all the movies in an embedded flash player on the site. You could save the FLV flash files if you wanted to, they’re videos after all, but you’d have to do it manually.
The player you watch the videos in is medium sized I’d say, and a bit widescreen. They could certainly use to increase the size of it, if that’s the only way they want to deliver videos.
This is what we call a DVD site, because the content comes from retail XXX porn dvd’s, in this case from the UK. Each video is a scene from a movie. Some of the titles I see here include Bitch in a Boot, Omay’s Fat Bird Frenzy, Wet Sex, Rogue Trollops, Babespotting, My Mum’s a Slut, Cumdog Millionaire, and many more. You can tell just by the titles where they come from!
The other problem I’m having is lots of errors on the site, rendering it impossible to use at times. It could be temporary, but it seems I’m getting different ones in different areas, so maybe not. Hard to tell really, I’ll have to check back in a few days and see if they’re still having issues at that time.
