The Bivvy Review

The Bivvy is designed by some people who obviously know a thing or two about web design – but can they run a good adult company? We’ve seen time and time again sites with great designs who fail miserably because of one thing or another. The Bivvy definitely struck me from the get-go, as it’s the very first adult site I’ve seen that breaks up everything by gender in half. That is to say, that half of the site is devoted to girls, and half to boys. While this makes sense in some cases (perhaps for couples who enjoy looking at porn together) I’m not sure how well it will work for them. While most guys don’t mind seeing a rent-a-cock in hardcore scenes with other women (I mean really, is there any other way?) I’m sure the vast majority of guys who buy porn accounts are going to completely skip any section where there’s “solo” sets of guys undressing alone.

That put aside, since I’m not gay, I’ll focus on the ladies! They claim to do most of the shooting themselves, but I’m not sure about that. It just doesn’t make sense to do all these hardcore photo sets and not take a single amateur movie for the site. The videos section isn’t their own, it’s a purchased feed from XFusion.cx. I’ve never seen these movie sets before, or this XFusion place used at all, so that’s a good sign at least. But it still leads me to believe they also purchase their photo sets. In total here were 9 photo sets added in February of 2003, at least in the girls section.

The extras section includes a whole slew of image sets, mostly of teen girls and women in their 20’s. A bit more amateur feeling than the galleries in their regular section, lots of shit in here. Overall this is mainly a pictures site, with a leased video feed thrown in. If you like boys AND girls, this could be a great site to cover both bases with.

The people at The Bivvy have informed me that they do include live shows 24/7 through a leased feed. Also they’ve stopped doing the half guy half girl thing and have started doing more scenes with boy/girl couples instead. I remember this site pretty well, and if they’re focusing on heterosexual content that’s great news.
