Uber Belle Review
Uber Belle is a brand spanking new erotic photography website in the style of a magazine, with an emphasis on fusing nude photography and fashion. The site started in August, 2005 and as such has only a few months worth of content so far. Thankfully they update every single day, so their numbers will grow quite quickly.
After poking around the site, I’m confident they’re off to a solid start at Uber Belle. The design is fantastic, it’s sleek and slightly futuristic, and works very well. It’s easy to find everything from their members area, and moving around is no problem either. This is a photos only site, at least so far.
It looks like their models are from somewhere in Europe, my guess is Russia, but it’s hard to be certain. The models look very European. Usually a model does 3 or 4 shoots for them, and they’re spread out over the days, so for 3 days it will be Inga, then 3 days of Michelle, then 3 days of Anna, etc. This is great if you particularly like a girl, but maybe not so much if you’re disinterested from day 1. I might be a bit more happy if they mixed up the updates a touch.
Browsing the photos can be done in three resolutions, just marked S, M, L. The large photos are about 2000×1300 resolution. I thought it was very nice that you can click the large photos to go to the next one, using the same resolution setting. I didn’t like that you have to click on very small “sml” buttons from the thumbnails page to pick your resolution, otherwise it loads the small image by clicking on the thumbnail itself. Do you have any idea how hard it is to click the letter l? It’s so skinny! Maybe a simple capital letter would solve this issue.
As for the photos themselves, I hope they’ll get a little bit more creative with their shoots. I found that a lot of the photos the girl didn’t move her pose a lot between shots, and the settings leave a little bit to be desired. Maybe some outdoor shoots, some colourful backgrounds, etc.
Having said all that, I think Uber Belle will turn into a good site, if they pay attention to these little details. Videos would be a bonus, too. Anyways enough from me, go have a look!
